As part of its Ritual training initiative, Sigma Chi is hosting supplementary Ritual training sessions in mid-February to certify participants as Ritual peers. Once certified, Ritual peers are charged with judging undergraduate chapters in their performance of the Ritual, and providing further Ritual education to the Fraternity’s members.

Brothers who wish to become certified as Ritual peers must commit to serving for three or more years in their new role. The Fraternity provides meals to volunteers at training sessions, and Ritual peers are responsible for covering the costs of their travel and lodging in the course of their duties. The International Fraternity plans to host future training sessions in select regions to maximize the likelihood that additional alumni may become Ritual peers.

Sigma Chi will host its next Ritual peer training session on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the law offices of Nelson, Mullins, Riley and Scarborough at 201 17th St. NW in Atlanta. You can register to attend the workshop by clicking here.
