Risk Management Foundation

The Sigma Chi Risk Management Foundation (RMF) was founded in 1988 by acclimation of 55th Grand Consul Tom Bell, MISSISSIPPI STATE 1935. Its mission:

  • to educate members on risk management,
  • to foster a fraternal culture of safety and responsibility, and
  • to provide our chapters with access to affordable, comprehensive insurance coverage.

RMF utilizes pooled resources, prudent management, expert industry experience and active undergraduate member input to ensure, enable and elevate the Sigma Chi experience by providing our members with practical risk education, access to a group insurance coverage program, initiatives to improve student housing, and opportunities for professional and personal development.

Today, RMF covers more than 15,000 brothers and $250 million in Sigma Chi property. It remains the only program of its kind in the Greek-letter world.
