This fall, Sigma Chi International Fraternity Headquarters will introduce a regionally-based chapter support program to better serve chapters. The coordinators will perform in-person visits to chapters within their assigned regions, help to implement strategic plans, assist alumni volunteers leaders in driving the Fraternity’s mission and establish strong working relationships with university personnel.
The northeast region will be monitored by Art Berg, OHIO 1982, Grand Praetor of the West Virginia/Pittsburgh province. Berg is a former chapter advisor to the undergraduates at his alma mater, as well as past assistant Grand Praetor of the now-inactive West Virginia/Western Pennsylvania province.
Meanwhile, Order of Constantine Sig Larry Cukjati, PITTSBURG STATE 1975, will assume responsibility for the southeast region. Cukjati is a former Grand Praetor of the Kansas province, and was president of his undergraduate chapter’s house corporation from 2002 to 2012.
Berg and Cukjati are available via email and phone at (847) 869-3655. For more information about the International Fraternity’s chapter support program, contact Order of Constantine Sig Bill Scott, ARIZONA 1980, senior director of undergraduate services at International Headquarters, at ext. 267.
