The Fraternity bid one University of New Mexico graduate adieu in August, while welcoming another Beta Xi member to its staff later that month.
In late July, Tim Mousseau, 2011, who had been working as special projects assistant, receptionist and mailroom coordinator, accepted a job at the North-American Interfraternity Council in Indianapolis as the coordinator for IFC Services.
Taking over for Mousseau on staff will be his chapter brother, Lucas Peralta, 2012. He will inherit the same duties Mousseau once occupied within the Fraternity. Peralta graduated from New Mexico in May 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in print journalism and a minor in health, medicine and human values. Peralta served his chapter as Annotator, Ritual chairman and recruitment chairman.
Peralta and Mousseau will continue to work on the pledge education committee and the Ritual renaissance committee.
“We are very excited for Lucas to take over his new role, and we are even more excited for the potential he brings to the Fraternity,” says Operations Manager Michael Church, ILLINOIS 2005. “We thank Tim Mousseau for his hard work and dedication, and we wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.”
