Sigma Chi Leadership Institute Wins at the 18th Annual Horizon Interactive Awards Competition
The Horizon Interactive Awards, a leading international interactive media awards competition, announced on April 13, 2020, its 2019 award winners to highlight the year’s “best of the best” in interactive media production.
The Sigma Chi Leadership Institute and eLearning Brothers, the organization’s learning management system partner, were recognized for their excellence with a Silver Award in the website training/e-learning category. The teams’ Noble Decisions course, which is designed to help Fraternity members understand how the organization’s compliance policies relate to its core values, earned the distinction.
“The goal was to give these young men the tools and knowledge to make the right choices when faced with difficult decisions surrounding alcohol, drugs, risky behavior and healthy relationships in real life,” says Trent Howell, vice president of marketing for eLearning Brothers. “To solve this challenge, we immersed learners in realistic, video-based, branching decision-making scenarios that tasked them with providing real-time assistance to their Fraternity brothers to help them make difficult decisions related to alcohol, drugs, risky behavior and healthy relationships.”
The competition included nearly 800 entries from around the world, including 35 out of the 50 U.S. states and 18 other countries.

An international panel of judges, consisting of industry professionals with diverse backgrounds, evaluated categories ranging from online advertising to mobile applications. The 2019 winning entries showcase the industry’s best interactive media solutions, including websites, mobile applications, print media, interactive displays, public exhibits, online advertising, video, email and more.
