
May 5, 2025 | Evanston, Illinois – Sigma Chi International Fraternity is pleased to announce the finalists for the 39th International Sweetheart of Sigma Chi. This individual will be the International Sweetheart from June 2025 to June 2027. This year’s finalists are Kenzie Loomis, Kate Jones, and Lindsey Dickess. The 39th International Sweetheart will be selected at the 85th Grand Chapter in Colorado later in June.
Kenzie Loomis, an incoming senior at Florida Atlantic University, is a dean’s list scholar and is pursuing a major in marketing. She has helped raise over $4,600 for the Huntsman Cancer Institute alone while helping the Lambda Tau chapter of Sigma Chi raise a record-breaking $84,532. She has remained involved with the Alpha Delta Pi sorority while volunteering at the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary and the Florida Oceanographic Center.
Kate Jones, an incoming senior at San Diego State University, is a marketing major and dean’s list student. She currently works as a Promotions Assistant for iHeartMedia and has completed two other internships and recently returned from studying abroad in Barcelona. She actively supports over 170 Sigma Chi members by organizing and attending chapter events and fostering strong alumni relationships. She co-founded Letters of Love, a nonprofit that supports children with cancer, and holds leadership roles with her sorority, Alpha Phi.
Lindsey Dickess is an incoming senior at the University of Cincinnati’s Lindner College of Business and is a member of its honors program, having completed four internships. She has held various leadership positions with her sorority, Chi Omega, served on the Panhellenic Council, is a campus tour guide and a Lindner Ambassador. Her dedication to philanthropy has raised tens of thousands of dollars for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Zeta Psi chapter of Sigma Chi’s philanthropic endeavors.
