The Risk Management Foundation (RMF) distributed invoices to undergraduate chapters and their house corporations via email in late July, and copies of the invoices are now posted on the RMF’s website. To access them, go to rmfeducation.org/login and use your sigmachi.org login credentials.
Please remember to make your payments out to the Risk Management Foundation, as it is a separate entity from the Sigma Chi International Fraternity. Payments made through postal mail should be addressed to Risk Management Foundation, 1714 Hinman Ave., Evanston, IL 60201.
This year, the RMF will accept payment via PayPal for the first time. To make a credit card or debit card payment through PayPal, log into the site and select ‘Tools,’ then ‘Send money.’ Click the ‘Pay for goods and services' option, and enter rmf@sigmachi.org. Please include the chapter or house corporation’s name in the transaction’s memo, as well as a brief description of the payment. The RMF has agreed to cover any fees associated with PayPal transactions.
Alternatively, brothers can pay the balance of their invoices online without incurring fees via automated clearing house (ACH) bank-to-bank transfers.
In addition, chapters and house corporations have until Sept. 30 to submit documentation to receive credits for either their risk management plans that have been reviewed in a chapter meeting and signed by all brothers; or their commitment to living in alcohol- and substance-free housing while agreeing to exclusively use third-party vendors for all chapter-hosted events. The relevant forms were distributed to risk managers at last week’s Balfour Leadership Training Workshop, and can be re-obtained by contacting the RMF.
For instructions on how to make ACH transfers or any other RMF-related questions, send an email to rmf@sigmachi.org.
