The Fraternity is proud to announce the launch of its newest program for its undergraduates, alumni, and their communities. Called Sigma Chi Lifeline, the program was developed alongside the Jed Foundation, home to the nation’s leading experts in the areas of emotional health and suicide prevention for university communities. Sigma Chi Lifeline assists the Fraternity’s brothers, their chapters and communities by providing tools and resources to address an array of mental health issues and more fully act as their brothers’ keepers.
While the experts at the Jed Foundation provided the program’s tools and resources, Sigma Chi Lifeline also includes local campus resource information for all of the Fraternity’s undergraduate chapters. In addition, it utilizes articles written by Sigma Chis and their families that detail their experiences in confronting the lasting effects of mental health issues.
Earlier this year, the Fraternity delayed the launch of Sigma Chi Lifeline to upgrade the program’s website into one that features a mobile-accessible platform. Doing so allows our brothers to have unprecedented access to the resources they need, no matter where or when they may need them.
