The Sigma Chi Crossroads/Choices committee, led by Tom Wimberly, GEORGIA SOUTHERN 1978, met in December to finalize the Crossroads curriculum as the Fraternity prepares to take its newest drug and alcohol program on the road. Crossroads is replacing Choices as Sigma Chi’s premiere drug and alcohol education workshop. The new program proceeds from Choices' model of encouraging conversations, and challenges brothers to examine their personal values systems — and the values of Sigma Chi — when making decisions involving drugs and alcohol. Facilitators will also train students on the lifelong skills needed to engage others in difficult discussions about substance abuse. Crossroads will be beta tested through the end of this academic year, at the following chapters:
Louisiana State University
Marquette University
University of Arkansas
California State University, Long Beach
Valparaiso University
DePaul University
