Are you having some brotherhood issues, or maybe you need a recruitment refresher for your fall pledge class? If there is an issue within your chapter that brothers may be struggling with, there’s a good chance Sigma Chi’s Journey program can help.
For the rest of the academic year, there are four Journeys that are available for undergraduate chapters to choose from.
The Chapter Revolution Journey is the perfect workshop for chapters looking to cultivate some type of change within their brotherhood. If there is a hot-button topic that needs to be addressed or ceased altogether, this curriculum is designed to help chapters confront those obstacles.
The Recruiting the Standard Journey is meant to serve as a refresher for chapters looking to host a one-day workshop on recruitment, or even serve as an orientation for new members who are beginning their first recruitment week on campus.
The Strengthening Our Brotherhood Journey is designed to help chapters whose members have divided into cliques that do not see eye-to-eye. Alternatively, it can help brothers reach a consensus on a particular issue that is creating tension within the chapter, and move forward in unity.
The Risk Intervention Journey shows brothers how to take an in-depth look at their chapter’s risk management plan, and teaches them how to work on improving all risk-related chapter operations.
If any chapter is interested in booking a Journey, please contact Jim Cogdal, BRADLEY 2003, director of leadership programs and alumni services, at (847) 869-3655, ext. 253, or jim.cogdal@sigmachi.org.
Sigma Chi International Headquarters will be able to identify a local facilitator for any chapter looking to schedule a Journey on their campus.
