About Ryan

Ryan joined the Headquarters team in 2022 after a 15-year career in the ultra-exclusive leisure industry at Iron Horse Golf Club in Whitefish, Montana. Prior to that, he was a physical education teacher for Kalispell Public Schools, in Kalispell, Montana.  Ryan brings a background of team development and volunteer service, highlighted by his induction into the Fraternity's Order of Constantine in 2022. Within Sigma Chi, as a volunteer Ryan has previously served as co-chairman of Team Krach, and co-chairman of Officer Training Academy.  He is also a Horizons Huntsman Leadership Summit guide and past Team Balfour member leading the Pro Consul team. Ryan was awarded a Seven Lights Alumni Award in 2020. Back at home Ryan has coached high school basketball for over 20 years and is currently the director of basketball operations for Glacier High School boys basketball. Ryan and his wife, Kim, have three children, Braden, Bryson and Bosley.

Job Description

Ryan is the managing director of chapter support and enhancement for the Sigma Chi International Fraternity. His team is comprised of regional chapter support coordinators and chapter enhancement specialists who all live and work remotely within their assigned regions, working directly with Fraternity chapters in the areas of Foundational Leadership, Leadership Development, Strategic Planning and providing mentorship to our undergraduate brothers.  The chapter support team also has a chapter support assistant who works in a hybrid environment at International Fraternity Headquarters in Evanston, Illinois.
