Chapter Support Coordinator, Northern Region
Clyde joined the headquarters team in 2023 after a more than 30-year career in performance improvement and leadership consulting and executive leadership roles with many large global organizations. Clyde brings more than 30 years of volunteer service in numerous roles, highlighted by his induction into the Fraternity’s Order of Constantine in 2022. Within Sigma Chi, Clyde has served over six years as a Grand Trustee, over 10 years as a chapter advisor for three chapters in The Big Sky province, over 15 years as a workshop facilitator in the Quaestor division, a facilitator in the Officer Training Academy, a member of the Membership Engagement Committee and a Ritual Peer. Among his accomplishments in The Big Sky province, Clyde led the volunteer committee that established the Fraternity chapter at Boise State University. Clyde was awarded the Seven Lights Alumni Alumni Award in 2013. Back home in Boise, Idaho, Clyde is a 20+ year member of the Boise Alumni Chapter, having served as officer of the chapter for over 10 years. Clyde and his wife, Joni, enjoy spending time fixing up their new house, constructing a pool, playing golf and spending time with friends and family including their children, Shea and Chase, and grandchildren Maddie, Mason, Tegan, Cole, Mila and Keely.
As a chapter support coordinator, Clyde works within the undergraduate services department to provide guidance to the Fraternity’s undergraduate chapters in his region by assisting them and their volunteer advisors in fulfilling the goals set forth in their strategic plans. Serving as an ambassador for Sigma Chi, he works closely with the Fraternity’s Grand Praetors, or regional governors, and chapter advisors to assist the undergraduate leadership with various aspects of their chapter’s operations and facilitates relationships between the chapters and universities. Clyde oversees the Northern region, which includes chapters in the East Michigan, Mid Central, North Central, Rocky Mountain, The Big Sky, West Michigan and Wisconsin provinces.
