EVANSTON, IL (AUGUST 16, 2024) — The Sigma Chi Foundation Board of Governors have announced the addition of three new members, bolstering its commitment to impact the leadership and educational needs of undergraduate brothers across North America. 

Order of Constantine Sig Jeffery Greene, WYOMING 1975, Order of Constantine Sig and Significant Sig Andy Nunemaker, VALPARAISO 1991, and Significant Sig Bob Thompson, WASHINGTON STATE 1985, have been selected to serve six-year terms effective July 1, 2024.

“We are proud to welcome three great Sigma Chi brothers who have each made a significant impact on our undergraduate men through their service and generosity,” said Foundation chairman Jeff Muir, GEORGIA 1971. “Each of these brothers are dedicated to our mission to directly benefit and support Sigma Chi initiatives across North America. The Foundation Board is appreciative of their commitment.”

Greene is a 1975 graduate of the University of Wyoming, where he was member of the Gamma Xi Chapter. He is a retired Editorial Manager for the McGraw-Hill Company and previously served as National Sales Manager for the automotive division at Johns-Manville Corporation. He has served Sigma Chi in a volunteer capacity for more than 40 years, most recently serving as Past President of the prestigious Order of Constantine. Greene served as the inaugural chairman of Sigma Chi’s Horizons program, chairman of the Cornerstone Mentoring Initiative, and as a member of the Leadership Training Board and Foundational Leadership committees.

A Ritual Peer, Greene additionally served as past Grand Praetor of the Rocky Mountain Province, a Leadership Training Workshop facilitator for 30 years and is a past recipient of the annual William H. Carlisle Outstanding Workshop Faculty Award.

Nunemaker is a 1991 graduate of Valparaiso University, where he was a founding father of the Iota Sigma Chapter. He is the CEO of Groupware Technologies, a healthcare software company serving the care management market. Andy also serves as Chairman of the Board at Sprecher Brewing company and serves on the Board of Directors for Northwestern Mutual. He serves on the Board of Directors for Valparaiso University, the Milwaukee Art Museum, the Metropolitan Milwaukee Area Chamber, Summerfest, and the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra where he served as its chair from 2014-2020.

In addition to his bachelor’s degree from Valpo, Nunemaker has a master’s degree from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Harvard. As an International Fraternity volunteer, he has served as the Grand Praetor for the Wisconsin Province; Chapter Advisor for chapters at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Loyola University Chicago, Marquette University, and Tarleton State University; and on the faculty of the Horizons Huntsman Leadership Summit and the Krach Transformational Leaders Workshop.

Thompson is a 1985 graduate of Washington State University, where he was a member of the Beta Upsilon Chapter. He co-founded the freight logistics company, Hybrid Logistics Inc., at the age of 27, growing the business to annual sales of over $100 million with more than 100 employees prior to its purchase by a leading global shipping container company. An avid salmon and steelhead fisherman, with more than 100 days annually on the water, he serves as a director of the Oregon Fishing Club.

Affectionately known by his chapter brothers as “Bobby T,” Thompson is a board member of the Beta Upsilon House Corporation and has been honored as a member of the chapter’s Hall of Fame.
