Property Services Manager
Andrew joined the Risk Management Foundation in 2022, bringing over 30 years of industry knowledge to the property inspection and lending programs of the Constantine Housing Initiative.
With a bachelor's degree in journalism from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky, Andrew joined State Farm Insurance before turning to manufacturing. In almost 18 years with Lubrizol Corp., he developed skills in process safety, emergency management and operations. In 2006, he served the Kentucky Department of Revenue as PVA in Marshall County.
In 2009, he transitioned to business development, with Lowe’s Home Improvement and Harley-Davidson. He returned to insurance in 2016 with State Farm, using his skills in risk assessment and loss mitigation to conduct claims investigations and field underwriting inspections. In 2021, he became a licensed mortgage originator serving residential property owners before joining the Sigma Chi staff.
He and his wife, Cathy, moved to Florida in 2019. They have two sons – DJ Story, 2010, and Hunter Hillmann, 2017, – who are both Sigma Chi legacies from Murray State.
As property services manager, Andrew supports the property-related initiatives of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, Risk Management Foundation (RMF) and specifically the Constantine Housing Initiative (CHI) by educating and assisting over 100 house corporations and more than 1,000 active volunteers.
Andrew is primarily responsible for coordinating inspections and renovations for chapter houses (especially life safety and loss mitigation projects), monitoring and supporting all components of the chapter housing experience (for both owned- and non-owned properties), and developing and implementing house corporation resources and training.
He also works to expand the financial resources available to house corporations, facilitating the CHI loan application process and promoting proactive asset management for all properties owned for the benefit of Sigma Chi. He actively supports the leadership and boards of both RMF and CHI, as needed, to provide active chapters and alumni with long-term, sustainable housing opportunities.
