Regional Chapter Support Coordinator, North Central Region
Thomas joined the International Fraternity in 2016 and graduated from Youngstown State University in May 2021 with a bachelor's degree in Business Advertising and Public Relations. In May 2023, he graduated from Oklahoma State University with a master's degree in College Student Development and a Graduate Certificate in Facilitating Career Development. As an undergraduate, Thomas attended Krach Transformational Leaders Workshop and was honored with the Chapter and Providence Balfour Awards, as well as the Greek Lifetime Achievement Award at Youngstown State University. Throughout his time in the Fraternity, he took on various leadership roles, including Recruitment and Philanthropy Chairman, as well as Pro Consul. Moreover, Thomas gained valuable experience by completing an internship in the United Kingdom, where he had the opportunity to explore eight different countries.
As a regional chapter support coordinator, Thomas works within the undergraduate services department to provide guidance to the Fraternity’s undergraduate chapters in his region and the Fraternity at-large by assisting them and their volunteer advisors in fulfilling the goals set forth in their strategic plans. Serving as an ambassador for Sigma Chi, he works closely with the Fraternity’s Grand Praetors, or regional governors, and chapter advisors to assist the undergraduate leadership with various aspects of their chapter’s operations and facilitates relationships between the chapters and university partners. Thomas oversees the North Central region, which includes undergraduate chapters in the Ohio, Indiana, Eastern Illinois, Upstate New York and Canadian provinces.
