Evanston, Illinois | April 25, 2025 – The Sigma Chi International Fraternity has engaged in an exciting new partnership with the American Red Cross. Every 2 seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood, and it can’t be manufactured in a lab. The generosity of donors is vital to maintain a steady supply for patients in need. The unfortunate truth is that tragedies will continue to impact millions every year, but we at Sigma Chi believe in doing all that we can to lend a helping hand and be there for our friends, loved ones, and community members who are in need.
Sigma Chi will be partnering with the American Red Cross to bring blood drives to campuses across the country in the month of October. In addition to providing lifesaving blood to a worthy cause, this initiative aims to aide chapters in reaching the goal of 20 hours of community service per man per year set forth by the Executive Committee. We are excited to provide more details on planning for the next academic year and ways you and your chapter can play a crucial role in alleviating the suffering of those afflicted by tragedies we’re all too familiar with.
