Sixty-six Chapters Earn 2019 Peterson Awards

Sigma Chi capped its inaugural Krach Transformational Leadership Workshop at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio by recognizing the success and improvements among undergraduate chapters across the United States and Canada.

The highest honor, the 2019 J. Dwight Peterson Significant Chapter Award, was presented to 66 Sigma Chi groups at colleges and universities in North America.

Established in 1964, the Peterson Award recognizes chapters that achieve excellence in all operations, including academics, philanthropy, recruitment and Ritual performance.

The Fraternity presents two levels of Peterson Award: The Peterson Blue Award, which recognizes those chapters that score between 90 percent and 96.99 percent on their applications; and the Peterson Gold Award, which is reserved for those chapters that register between 97 percent and 100 percent on their applications.
