Sigma Chi International Fraternity Headquarters is accepting online nominations for its 2016 Significant Sig Award through Nov. 15. Established in 1935, the Significant Sig Award is the Fraternity’s highest honor for members who have achieved substantial degrees of professional success. Previous winners include film star John Wayne, SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA 1929; former talk show host David Letterman, BALL STATE 1969; and three-time national championship-winning college football coach Urban Meyer, CINCINNATI 1986.

To nominate a brother for the award, visit the Significant Sig page on the Fraternity's website and follow the on-screen directions. All nominations for the 2016 award must be done digitally through sigmachi.org, and are due no later than Nov. 15.

Since its creation, the Fraternity has recognized more than 1,700 men with the Significant Sig Award. Recipients are allowed to accept their award at International Fraternity events such as Grand Chapter or Grand Council, or at local events hosted by alumni or undergraduate chapters.
