Thanks to generous donations from our brothers, the Sigma Chi Foundation met its funding commitments for the seventh year in a row in fiscal year 2012 to 2013. Their contributions will allow the Foundation to increase its overall leadership program and scholarship funding by 10 percent in fiscal year 2013 to 2014, and provide grants in the amounts listed below:
$500,000 to Balfour Leadership Training Workshop
$493,000 to fully fund the cost of the Horizons leadership development program
$275,000 in academic scholarship funding
$80,000 to support the Crossroads alcohol and drug awareness program
$65,000 to the Journey program
$55,000 to the Grand Praetor leadership stipend
$39,000 to fund Sigma Chi’s archival projects
$33,900 to fully fund the Sigma Chi Lifeline suicide prevention and depression awareness program
$20,000 to fund the Mission 365 recruitment training program
$10,000 to the Peterson Significant Chapter Awards
Since 2006, the Foundation has provided a total of $23 million in funding to undergraduate chapters, leadership programs and scholarships.
