Recognize Outstanding Volunteers for their Service

Nominations are due for many of Sigma Chi’s 2015 volunteer awards, some of which will be presented at this summer’s 2015 Grand Chapter in San Diego. Those eligible for such awards range from a chapter’s outstanding houseparent or chapter advisor, to its parents club or outstanding Grand Praetor, among others. A full list of awards is included at the end of this update.

Award recipients will have the choice to accept their awards in June at the 80th Grand Chapter in San Diego, or at a local undergraduate or alumni chapter event. The nominations due March 13 are for the Alumni Chapter Excellence Award; Dr. Donald B. Ward Alumni Chapter Community Service Award; Edna A. Boss Houseparent Award; Edwin C. Fisher Grand Praetor Award; Erwin L. LeClerg Outstanding Chapter Advisor Award; Jay E. Minton Best Alumni Chapter Officer Award; Parents Club Award for Excellence; Seven Lights Alumni Award; and William T. Bringham Best House Corporation Officer Award.
