Journey Program Launches At Balfour LTW

Members who attended Balfour Leadership Training Workshop were the first to hear the announcement of Journey, the Fraternity’s newest leadership program. Journey is a set of local chapter retreats aimed to engage and support undergraduate brothers in a wide range of areas.
The first set of Journey retreats is focused on strategic planning and managing positive change in chapter culture. There are additional retreats in development and pilot phases, focused on the areas of strengthening brotherhood, living the Fraternity’s values in everyday life, personal leadership, risk management, recruitment and member wellness.
The Journey program aligns with Sigma Chi’s mission to develop values-based leaders committed to the betterment of character, campus and community. It is strongly recommended for every chapter to host the strategic visioning retreat during the fall semester to build upon their strategic plan created at Balfour LTW.
