Honor Your Chapter’s Most Outstanding Senior

Every year, Sigma Chi honors its most outstanding graduating seniors with Balfour Awards. There are three tiers to the award: the Chapter Balfour Award (CBA), the Province Balfour Award (PBA) and the International Balfour Award (IBA).
First, brothers must select one graduating senior from their chapter as the winner of its CBA. Then, the chapter must submit this choice to the Grand Praetor, who will review the province’s CBA winners and choose one to represent the area as the winner of the PBA.
Grand Praetors must collect all Chapter and Province Balfour Award winners and send them via email to Alumni and Volunteer Services Coordinator Reece Schenkenfelder, WESTERN KENTUCKY 2011, by Friday, March 1, 2013.
Only PBA winners may apply for the International Balfour Award, which honors Sigma Chi’s most outstanding senior. IBA applicants must send their completed applications to Sigma Chi International Headquarters by Monday, April 15, 2015.
The IBA winner is named each summer at Balfour Leadership Training Workshop. Last year’s winner was Taylor Henderson, OKLAHOMA STATE 2012.
