In four weeks, Sigma Chis from across the United States and Canada will begin migrating to Bowling Green State University to attend Balfour Leadership Training Workshop, taking place from July 30 to Aug. 1 in Bowling Green, Ohio. To that end, Director of Leadership Programs Matthew Coffin, DEPAUW 2013, offers a few ideas as to how you can make your week go as smooth as possible.

Undergraduates and alumni are advised to bring at least four days’ worth of summer clothing, such as shorts, T-shirts and comfortable walking shoes; workout clothes for SigFest activities; toiletries such as soap and shampoo; an alarm clock; and a large towel. In addition, undergraduates are required to bring at least one laptop computer per chapter, so that they can submit their strategic plans before leaving the workshop.

“Balfour LTW is a very busy week for its participants, undergraduate and alumni alike, so it is greatly important that they arrive at the workshop prepared for what the week will throw at them,” says Coffin. “By making sure to plan ahead and bring everything that will be needed of them, participants will ensure that they get the most they can out of their visit to Bowling Green.”
