The undergraduate Sigs from the University of Memphis were presented the Daniel William Cooper Award at the Aug. 4 closing session of the Balfour Leadership Training Workshop at Bowling Green State University for having the Fraternity's most outstanding scholastic achievement program. In addition, the chapter’s brothers received a $5,000 grant to use toward furthering their scholarship program.

 

The runner-up was the chapter at Gettysburg College. They received $3,000 scholarship award.

 

The annual Cooper Award is named for Founder Daniel William Cooper, MIAMI (OHIO) 1857.
