The Sigma Chi International Fraternity has presented its 2016 Erwin L. LeClerg Outstanding Chapter Advisor Award to Jim Woodford, TENNESSEE-KNOXVILLE 1973. Woodford advises the undergraduate Sigs at Tennessee Tech University, a position he first took up in 2005.
The Fraternity has presented the LeClerg Award to its most outstanding chapter advisor each year since 1972, with multiple winners being awarded in some years. It is named for Order of Constantine Sig Erwin LeClerg, COLORADO STATE 1924, who was Grand Praetor, or regional director, of the International Fraternity’s Eastern province; a Grand Praetor representative to the Executive Committee and an advisor to the chapters at Colorado State University, Louisiana State University, George Washington University and the University of Maryland.
Nominations for the award are due March 1.
