Sigma Chi International Fraternity members at Indiana University Bloomington hosted their second-annual Hoosiers Against Sexual Assault on Oct. 12, hearing from Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller about the Indiana Coalition to End Sexual Assault and Leslie Fasone, assistant dean of students of women’s and gender affairs, about bystander intervention and how to support those who may have been assaulted, according to the Indiana Daily Student. Cullen Hoene, INDIANA 2018, tells the publication he started the event in response to his awareness that sexual assault is prevalent on campus, noting: “I saw people doing great events for things like cancer research but didn’t really see anything that was affecting our campus right here and right now.”
