Since its inception at the 47th Grand Chapter in 1948, induction into the Order of Constantine has been reserved for those alumni members who have contributed at least 20 years of volunteer service to the Fraternity and is considered the highest honor the organization can bestow upon a member.
Conferred on just over 760 brothers, the Order of Constantine recognizes a group of brothers for their commitment, dedication and service to the Fraternity.
Members of the selection committee are accepting nominations for the 2019 Order of Constantine induction class, which will be honored during the 82nd Grand Chapter in June 2019.
Each nominee must receive a minimum of five letters of endorsement — at least three of which must be from members of the Order of Constantine. The impact of a brother’s service to Sigma Chi and the results he helped achieve will carry more weight with the selection committee than a lengthy list of activities performed.
The deadline for nomination forms is Dec. 31.
The nomination form can be accessed here. After logging into members.sigmachi.org, users can find the nomination form under the “alerts” section on the left-hand side of their membership page.
