Steve Schuyler, ARIZONA 1979, was initiated into the Beta Phi chapter in 1977, after completion of his service in the U.S. Army’s military police. He served the chapter as recruitment chairman and as Consul, and has continued supporting Sigma Chi at the international and local levels throughout his professional career. He has served the Arizona undergraduate chapter as its chapter advisor, as co-chairman of the Beta Phi Campaign for Excellence, founder of the Beta Phi Hall of Honor and the Beta Phi Consuls Association, and as the president of its house corporation. He has also served the International Fraternity as president of the Tucson, Arizona, alumni chapter, a member of the former Journey Operating Board and Cornerstone mentoring program, a Balfour LTW faculty member, and on the Board of Grand Trustees, which he served as vice chairman. He was inducted into the Order of Constantine in 2014.
Schuyler began his real estate career in 1979 with Coldwell Banker Real Estate Management Services. In 1984, he joined Consultant Property Management and Investors, Inc. as Senior Vice President, and was soon after named Executive Vice President and Broker for Consultant Properties. In 1987, he jointly formed Partners Management and Consultants, Inc. Schuyler was awarded the professional designation of Real Property Administrator (RPA) by the Building Owners and Managers Institute International in 1996, and the professional designation of Facilities Management Administrator (FMA) in 2000.
