About Leo

Leo joined the Headquarters team in 2021 after spending 10 years serving his alma mater, Furman University, in its alumni office. He previously served the Headquarters team after his graduation from college in 2003 as a leadership consultant and program director. It was through this experience that he discovered his passion for higher education and decided to pursue a career in that field. Leo has a master’s degree in educational leadership and student personnel administration from the University of Central Florida. As a volunteer, Leo has served as a chapter advisor, Horizons Huntsman Leadership Summit guide and Krach Transformational Leaders workshop facilitator. Leo and his wife, Adelaide, have three children, Davis, James and Grace. In his free time, he enjoys coaching Little League Baseball, running and spending time with family.

Job Description

Leo is the senior director of member engagement for Sigma Chi International Fraternity headquarters. He is the primary support person for the International Fraternity’s member engagement committee and is responsible for planning, implementing and promoting alumni programs and engagement initiatives. These initiatives include educating graduating members on the benefits of continued involvement with the organization, supporting and driving increased involvement with the Fraternity’s affinity groups, and finding innovative ways for members to engage with the Fraternity. He additionally oversees Sigma Chi’s alumni chapter annual report process, develops resources that are designed to aid alumni groups and coordinates the recruitment and implementation of new alumni organizations.
