Ashley is from Sandusky, Ohio, near Cleveland, and graduated from the University of Missouri with her bachelor’s degree in journalism in 2015. She then graduated from the University of Missouri with her master’s degree in 2017. Ashley has extensive newspaper and magazine experience. Before joining Sigma Chi, she was a staff writer at the Quincy (Ill.) Herald-Whig, a freelance writer for Missouri Lifemagazine, assistant news editor at the Columbia (Mo.) Missourian and editor at Vox magazine.
As the senior associate multimedia editor, Ashley works within the marketing and communications team at International Fraternity Headquarters. Her primary responsibilities include creating and editing key sections of The Magazine of Sigma Chi and sigmachi.org, conceptualizing story ideas, interviewing sources and gathering Sigma Chi storytelling content, while also supporting other marketing and communications projects.
