The Sigs from the University of Kentucky came away from the 2015 Balfour Leadership Training Workshop at Bowling Green State University with the Daniel William Cooper Award, which is presented annually to the chapter with the Fraternity's most outstanding scholastic achievement program. The chapter previously won the award in 2011. In addition, the chapter received a $5,000 award to use toward furthering its scholarship program.
The second runner-up was the Toronto-Ryerson chapter, and the first runner up was the Brown chapter. They received scholarship awards of $2,000 and $3,000, respectively.
The Cooper Award is named for Founder Daniel William Cooper, MIAMI (OHIO) 1857, who was Sigma Chi's first Consul.
