Order of Constantine Sig D. Timothy Sanderson, WESTERN ONTARIO 1985, was initiated into Sigma Chi on Dec. 3, 1983. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Western Ontario and earned the Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute in 1994. He has served the General Fraternity in a variety of capacities at both the international and province levels. Sanderson was the founding chapter advisor for the former chapter at Bishop’s University in Sherbrooke, Quebec, from 1986 to 1990; Grand Praetor for the former Ontario-Quebec province from 1993 to 2003; and has 25 years of volunteer service within the Ontario province.
Internationally, Sanderson has provided mentorship and officer-specific training to undergraduates at the Balfour Leadership Training Workshop since 1987, and has served as team lead for the workshop’s Quaestor division since 2007. He has served the Sigma Chi Canadian Foundation as a board member from 1995 to 2015; as vice chairman from 2000 to 2003; and as its chairman from 2003 to 2013. He has also loaned his services to the Sigma Chi Foundation Board of Governors from 2005 to 2013.
Professionally, Sanderson is the managing director of Tapiola Holdings Ltd., in Toronto, and has more than 25 years experience as a professional Money Manager.
