volunteer your time

The Initiative needs help of all kinds to complete its objectives. If you would like to work on cataloguing, providing website content, or helping to improve our new online tools, we welcome your assistance.

tax-deductible donations

The Sigma Chi Historical Initiative is supported by Fraternity members via donations to the Sigma Chi Foundation. If you would like to support our work, please consider a tax-deductible gift to the Foundation and tag it “The Sigma Chi Historical Initiative.” There are two ways to do this:

joseph cookman nate fund

A gift to the Joseph Cookman Nate Fund supports The Initiative's day-to-day operations. To make a donation click here, and enter your name, undergraduate chapter and year of initiation in the boxes to connect your donation to your membership record. After the system finds your record, click the link to the donation page, choose “Historical Initiative” from the Campaign list and then choose the Joseph Nate Initiative Operating Fund from the “Additional Campaign Selection” box.

boz prichard endowment fund

The Initiative is also endeavoring to build an endowment to assure continued operations into the future through gifts to The Boz Prichard Endowment Fund. To make a donation click here, and enter your name, undergraduate chapter and year of initiation in the boxes to connect your donation to your membership record. After the system finds your record, click the link to the donation page, choose “Historical Initiative” from the Campaign list and then choose the Merrill ‘Boz' Prichard Endowment Fund from the “Additional Campaign Selection” box.

special projects

There are always needs outside normal operations—updating the museum exhibits, equipment and furniture acquisitions (computers, Audio Visual equipment, shelving, etc.), and facility upgrades are all items that fall under this category. Support of Special Projects can take the form of merchandise or monetary donations–again both are tax-deductible. If you are interested helping with a specific Special Project, please contact The Initiative's Director, Noah Phelps at noah.phelps@sigmachi.org or by phone at 847-425-4420.
