Sigma Chi’s Brothers Helping Brothers Fund supports brothers who have lost employment or been displaced from academic institutions due to disasters, such as Hurricane Ian, or global pandemics in the form of academic scholarships or educational support.
Since its inception following Hurricane Katrina, the Brothers Helping Brothers Fund has provided assistance to our young men in need. While we receive requests for scholarship assistance from this fund on a regular basis, we are expecting this number to vastly increase due to the changes impacting the lives of our brothers on campuses across North America and we know that we cannot meet all needs that will exist, but we can be a part of the solution.
Please lend your support to our brothers who need it most today. As an added benefit, your gift today will qualify you as a Life Loyal Sig for the next year, and you’ll be recognized in the appropriate giving society as a Sigma Chi Foundation donor.
We want to thank each of you for your continued support of Sigma Chi, and all you are doing to support your loved ones and communities as we face this unprecedented moment in our lifetimes.
Scholarships are available to undergraduate and graduate brothers whose families have been adversely affected by hardship, such as long-term unemployment, illness, or the effects of a natural disaster.
The Brothers Helping Brothers Scholarship Award provides academic scholarships, in varying amounts, to qualified Sigma Chi brothers; the Brothers Helping Brothers application is available year-round.
