Luce, Quiner Join Foundation Board of Governors

EVANSTON — The Sigma Chi Foundation Board of Governors (FBOG) has announced the addition of Jim Luce, NEVADA-LAS VEGAS 1980, and Order of Constantine Sig and Grand Tribune Mark Quiner, WYOMING 1978, to its active roster.


“We are pleased to welcome brothers Jim and Mark to the Foundation’s Board of Governors. Each of these men have been widely successful in their professional careers and their knowledge and experience will prove vital as we further our mission to grow academic scholarship and high-value leadership support for our members — now and for generations of Sigma Chis to come,” said FBOG Chairman John Forst, GEORGE WASHINGTON 1984.


Luce joins the Foundation Board of Governors with 40 years of experience as a successful sales and marketing executive in the pharmaceutical and hotel and resort industries.


Presently the Chief Commercial Officer at TIGura Pharmaceuticals, Executive Vice President at Amneal Pharmaceuticals, Executive Vice President of Bergen Brunswig Drug Company and Regional Vice President – Sales & Marketing for Marriott Hotels and Resorts, with whom he was affiliated at various resorts for over two decades. He is also co-founder and Chairman of The Legacy Cellar Foundation.


Quiner, known to many within Sigma Chi circles as a longtime volunteer at international level,  brings more than three decades of legal and legislative experience to the board.


An attorney for more than 30 years, Quiner serves as Director for the Center for Ethics in Government at the National Conference of State Legislatures. He previously served more than 25 years as acting director and assistant director for the nonpartisan Wyoming Legislative Service Office for the Wyoming Legislature.


He served Sigma Chi for two terms as immediate Past Grand Tribune and is chairman of the Fraternity’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.
