For the first time in organizational history, the Sigma Chi Foundation will be holding a Founders Week of Giving starting on June 23.

The eight-day event will honor the founding of Sigma Chi Fraternity on June 28, as well as a day in honor of each of Sigma Chi’s Founders. The event will end on June 30.

Throughout the 2019 to 2020 fiscal year, the Foundation has raised more than $900,000 of its year-end $1.25 million goal in unrestricted funds through the Life Loyal Sig Annual Giving program.

These funds directly impact general academic scholarships, Sigma Chi’s historical initiative, chapter support efforts and leadership programming efforts through the Sigma Chi Leadership Institute, among other items.

“The Life Loyal Sig Annual Giving program is a catalyst for our efforts each fiscal year,” says Sigma Chi Foundation President and CEO Ashley Woods, EAST TENNESSEE 2000. “By honoring Sigma Chi’s day of birth and our seven Founders during our inaugural Sigma Chi Founders Week of Giving, you will be impacting all facets of the organization and directly benefitting our young brothers as they return to campuses across the United States and Canada this fall.”
