The Sigma Chi International Fraternity enters the 2020-2021 academic year with each of its chapters facing different uncertainties and challenges presented to them by the coronavirus pandemic that’s gripped the world.
In order to accommodate our chapters that are facing either hybrid or completely online deployment this fall, the International Fraternity, the Jordan Initiative Committee and Sigma Chi Leadership Institute have teamed up to enhance and deliver P4B virtual programming for the 2020 to 2021 academic year.
Immediately below, you will find recommendations for hosting every meeting, activity or ceremony within P4B online – utilizing the Sigma Chi Online learning management system and Zoom video meetings as your primary sources of engagement.
For chapters that digitally recruit pledge classes this fall, the Fraternity’s Executive Committee requires those chapters to immediately begin their pledge-education period in a virtual format, so this virtual guide includes all requirements of a digital process. All chapters are to follow these requirements and not deviate to any activities, meetings or discussions outside the provided curricula.
