Undergraduate attendees and alumni facilitators have just five weeks remaining to register to attend the 2015 Balfour Leadership Training Workshop (LTW). This year’s event takes place July 30 to Aug. 1 at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
Each undergraduate chapter is encouraged to send as many brothers as possible to attend the workshop, the first five of whom will not need to pay additional fees. Balfour LTW provides officer training in seven divisions: Consuls, Pro Consuls, Quaestors, Magisters, recruitment, risk management, and Ritual. Participants divide their time between officer-specific training sessions and opportunities to work with the other officers in their chapters to determine their goals for the upcoming academic year.
The first five officers of each chapter (not considering those considered Thomas Cowan Bell Chapters by the Sigma Chi Foundation) who register by July 10 can do so free of additional charge; additional registrants must pay $350 to complete their registration. Additionally, any cancellations after the July 10 registration deadline will be charged the full amount of registration. Chapters are eligible to receive a travel stipend based upon the distance between their chapter and Bowling Green State University, contingent upon its members’ attendance at Balfour LTW’s sessions.
