Walker Patten was born in Chicago and grew up in a suburb of Denver called Parker, Colo. After graduating from Chaparral High School in 2011, he attended the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where he studied business. During his undergraduate years, Walker served as recruitment chairman, chapter editor, house manager, and social chairman. Internationally, from 2014 to 2015 Walker served on the Balfour Leadership Operations Board as an undergraduate representative. Walker also participated in the Collegiate Entrepreneurship Organization for two years during his time in Lincoln. Walker enjoys hockey, snowboarding, attending concerts and visiting friends and family.
The primary responsibilities of the expansion team lead are to serve as the principle point of contact for the Fraternity's New Chapter Development Committee, to help oversee the training of new expansion staff, and to provide administrative oversight of its colonization process.
