Since joining the staff in July 2005, Mike has served as Associate Director of Chapter Services, Director of Expansion, Director of Member Services, Fraternity Services Team Lead and Operations Manager - assuming the role of Executive Director in January 2014. He has visited more than 1/3 of the chapters in some capacity has been installation director for 10 installations. Among his most important accomplishments as a member of the Headquarters Staff, Mike counts his role in orchestrating the overhaul of the J. Dwight Peterson Significant Chapter Award application process in 2009, the updating and graphical overhaul of the Norman Shield in 2009, 2011 and 2013, his contributions to the improvement of the reporting mechanism for chapter business, significantly contributing to the Fraternity's annual budgeting process, and identifying and building many internal reporting improvements which have significantly enhanced the efficiencies at the Headquarters.
Mike has also been a dedicated volunteer to Sigma Chi, serving as the Chairman or Co-Chairman of the Peterson Award Task Force from 2009 through 2013, contributing to the Ritual Renaissance Initiative and, most recently, serving as the Ritual Director for the installations of the Lambda Tau Chapter at the University of New Hampshire, the Lambda Upsilon Chapter at Bentley University and the Lambda Phi Chapter at the University of West Georgia. Mike has been a lifelong student of the Ritual and the Fraternity's history, recently being named as a member of the inaugural class of Ritual Masters.
He is a lifelong Chicagoan and has spent most of his life in the state of Illinois until taking on the challenge of being a member of the Headquarters staff, causing him to subsequently visit 42 of the 50 United States as well as 2 Canadian Provinces during his tenure. His hobbies include running, reading and spending time with his family - as he is a proud uncle of two nieces and a nephew.
Mike is the President of the Sigma Chi Corporation and acts as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief of Staff for the Sigma Chi Fraternity. His primary responsibilities include overseeing the implementation aspect of the directives and direction set by the Executive Committee and managing the personell and activities of the Headquarters Staff. He is also tasked, in conjunction with the Grand Quaestor and the Controller, with the management of the Fraternity's budget and financial activities. As part of his role, he also serves as the Executive Director of the Sigma Chi Leadership Institute and is a primary stockholder of Constantine Capital, Inc.
