Jon graduated with his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Oklahoma State University in 1966. He continued his education, receiving both a master’s in industrial engineering from Texas A&M University and a master’s in Maintainability Engineering from the U.S. Army Logistics School in 1969. Jon began his Sigma Chi volunteering career with the University of Maryland in 1979, where he served as chapter advisor. He later went on to serve as Grand Praetor of the Eastern province, and as president of the Washington, D.C., alumni chapter. He was inducted into the Order of Constantine in 2008, and chaired the Fraternity’s technology committee for five years. Jon joined the International Fraternity Headquarters staff in 2012.
As a senior developer, Jon is responsible for supporting the Fraternity's chapter sytem management tool, developing and implementing new technology. He also is responsible for coordinating with other information technology team members on ehancements to existing programs.
