Jaecy was born and raised in Garden City, Kansas. Her desire to go as far from home as possible, her unique personality, and her love for obscure mascots led her attend Pittsburg State University – Go Gorillas! While at Pitt. State, Jaecy became involved on campus in Student Ambassadors, Crimson Club, and found her forever home with the sisterhood of Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority. After graduating from Pitt State in 2014, Jaecy attended the University of Arkansas, where she completed her master’s in higher education with an emphasis in student affairs administration in May 2017. Jaecy enjoys spending time with her husband, Matthew, and their Cockapoo, Jackson. When she isn’t doing Sigma Chi things, she advances the Greek-letter movement through her volunteer facilitating with various fraternity and sorority educational leadership programs. She attributes her enthusiasm for joining the Sigma Chi staff to a few of her closest undergraduate friends and professional colleagues and mentors.
As the online learning curriculum development coordinator, Jaecy works within the membership development department supporting the Fraternity’s learning management system, Sigma Chi U. She also performs online curriculum development and implementation, as well as membership database administration and database tracking for the Fraternity’s educational and leadership programs.
