Jaecy Bradford

Jaecy was born and raised in Garden City, Kansas.  Her desire to go as far from home as possible, her unique personality, and her love for obscure mascots  led her eight hours from home to attend Pittsburg State University – Go Gorillas!  While at Pitt State, Jaecy became ridiculously involved on campus in Student Ambassadors, Crimson Club, and found her forever home with the sisterhood of Alpha Sigma Alpha.  As a member of her chapter, she served  on the philanthropy committee, as well as in the roles of Vice President of Programming and Ritual, and Ritual Chairman.  She also was involved with the Panhellenic Council, serving  as recruitment counselor for formal recruitment, and as an instructor for two Greek educational leadership courses, with one of those courses being  a curriculum of her own design.  After changing majors four times, Jaecy finally sought the counsel of an advisor in Admissions, who happened to be a Sigma Chi; he encouraged her to look into Masters Degree programs for Higher Education so that she could turn her passion for fraternal leadership into a career.  After graduating from Pitt State in 2014, Jaecy  attended the University of Arkansas, where she completed her M.Ed. in Higher Education with an emphasis in Student Affairs Administration in May 2017.

Jaecy enjoys traveling, cooking and baking, reading, biking, supporting small local businesses, and spending quality time with her husband, Matthew, and their Cockapoo, Jackson.  Jaecy is an avid Cubs fan and is excited to make Evanston/Chicago her home.  When she isn’t doing Sigma Chi things, she is still focused on advancing the Fraternal Movement through her volunteer facilitating with various fraternity and sorority educational leadership programs.  She attributes her enthusiasm for joining the Sigma Chi staff to a few of her closest undergraduate friends and professional colleagues and mentors.  She looks forward to continuing the educational development of the Fraternity as an Online Curriculum Development Coordinator.
