Des Robinson


Desmond "Des" Robinson was born in Austin, Texas, but he was raised in Fort Worth, Texas. After graduating from Crowley High School in 2010, he attended Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas, where he studied business marketing. During his undergraduate years, Des served the Kappa Xi chapter as Consul, Pro Consul, Recruitment Chairman, Tribune, Webmaster, and Derby Days chairman. Internationally, 68th Grand Consul Michael Greenberg, ILLINOIS WESLEYAN 1982, appointed Des to serve as an undergraduate representative to the Fraternity's International Philanthropy Committee in 2013; he is also a Horizons Graduate. While being involved in his chapter, he also kept an active role on Tarleton State's campus. Des was a training committee member of the Texan Reps for two years, president of The Tarleton American Marketing Association for one year, a member and president of the Oldest Spirit Organization in the State of Texas for three years, and a member of the Freshman Representative Council in 2010. Des enjoys traveling, fishing, attending concerts, playing video games and spending time with his family.

Job Description: 

The primary responsibilities of the Expansion Team Lead are to serve as the principle point of contact for the Fraternity's New Chapter Development Committee, to help oversee the training of new expansion staff, and to provide administrative oversight of its colonization process.
